With the traditional bag-in-box system the bag is filled first and then the carton is wrapped around the bag. A new solution is the Jerribox, which is set up before it is filled. Therefore, the Jerribox can easily replace the traditional Jerrycan on existing filling lines.

Bag in Box

The bag in box is a solid board cover, with a plastic bag interior. This product can be used for all kinds of liquid products. Depending on its application, the box can be produced in the dimensions you wish for. The smart construction provides high stacking strength and the solid board is very well suited for printing. Since the solid board retains its shape under wet conditions, the bag in box can is very suitable for application under wet or frozen conditions.Furthermore, the box is an environmentally friendly solution: the solid board cover and the plastic interior can be easily separated. This all together makes the Solid Board bag-in-box a good alternative for all kinds of markets, as well as for concentrate cannisters as for consumer markets.

Bag in box for frozen coffee concentrate

The combination of good freezing charasteristics and the waterproof Sapino quality made the Smurfit Kappa Bag–in-Box ideal for a famous coffee producer to pack frozen coffee concentrate. The package contains a high quality print and supports branding objectives. At its final destination the frozen concentrate is de-frozen in hot water. The packaging still stands up strong during its use afterwards.
